Description

These Roasted Parmesan Cauliflower Bites are a crispy, savory snack that’s full of flavor. The cauliflower is tossed in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan, then roasted until golden brown. They’re perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or healthy snack, and they pair wonderfully with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Prepare the Cauliflower: Wash and dry the cauliflower, then cut it into bite-sized florets.
  • Season the Cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Make sure all the florets are well coated with the seasoning.
  • Roast the Cauliflower: Arrange the seasoned cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden and crispy around the edges.
  • Add Parmesan: Remove the cauliflower from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot cauliflower. Toss gently to ensure the cheese melts and coats the florets.
  • Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm as a side dish, snack, or appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • If you like extra crispy cauliflower, you can broil the cauliflower for an additional 1-2 minutes after roasting. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
  • You can use a mix of Parmesan and other cheeses, such as mozzarella, for a different flavor profile.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
