Salt & Vinegar Smashed Taters are a crispy and tangy twist on classic potatoes. These deliciously smashed baby red potatoes are seasoned with a zesty salt and vinegar blend, making them a perfect side dish or snack with a satisfying crunch.

- 1 pound baby red potatoes, cleaned
- 1 tablespoon Salt & Vinegar Seasoning, divided
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
Instructions
- Prepare Potatoes:
- Pierce the potatoes with a fork in several spots.
- Place them on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on HIGH for 5-6 minutes, or until fork tender.
- Smash Potatoes:
- Using a meat mallet or the bottom of a flat glass, gently smash the cooked potatoes.
- Season both sides of the smashed potatoes with 1½ teaspoons of Salt & Vinegar Seasoning.
- Cook Potatoes:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully add the smashed potatoes to the skillet. Cook, turning occasionally and adding 1-2 tablespoons of oil as needed, until the potatoes are nicely browned and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Season and Serve:
- Remove the potatoes from the skillet and sprinkle with the remaining 1½ teaspoons of Salt & Vinegar Seasoning.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, make sure to smash the potatoes thoroughly.
