These Sausage and Egg Breakfast Pizzas are a delicious twist on your traditional breakfast. With a crispy pizza crust topped with savory sausage, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, this breakfast pizza is both satisfying and easy to make.

- 1 pre-made pizza crust (or homemade dough)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the pizza crust package or to 425°F if using homemade dough.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the crumbled breakfast sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in the beaten eggs. Cook, stirring frequently, until scrambled and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
- On a baking sheet, place your pizza crust and lightly brush with olive oil.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the pizza crust, followed by the scrambled eggs.
- Sprinkle both shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top of the sausage and eggs.
- Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- You can swap the breakfast sausage for turkey sausage or a vegetarian sausage for a different flavor.
- If you prefer a crispy crust, you can pre-bake the pizza dough for 5 minutes before adding the toppings.
