Description

A rich and flavorful pasta dish combining savory sausage, spicy chorizo, tangy sun-dried tomatoes, and creamy mozzarella for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1/2 cup diced chorizo
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add Italian sausage and chorizo, cooking until browned and cooked through, breaking up the meat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Stir in cubed mozzarella and grated Parmesan until cheeses melt and sauce is creamy.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
