Description
These Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are the perfect bite-sized appetizer or breakfast option. With a savory filling of ground pork sausage and creamy cheese, wrapped in flaky crescent dough, they are a crowd-pleaser for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 16 ounces ground pork sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2–3 cans crescent rolls
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Cook the Sausage:
In a large skillet, brown the ground pork sausage over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Cook until the sausage is fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease. - Prepare the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage crumbles with the softened cream cheese. Stir until well mixed. - Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise, creating smaller triangles. - Assemble the Rolls:
Place a scoop of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent dough triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the pointed end, encasing the filling. - Bake:
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown. - Serve:
Serve warm as an appetizer, finger food, or a bite-sized breakfast on the go.
