Description

These Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are a perfect, hearty breakfast on the go or for a weekend brunch. With fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese wrapped in flaky crescent rolls, they are both delicious and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 sausage links (cooked)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the eggs: In a small bowl, beat the 5 eggs, reserving 2 tablespoons of beaten egg for brushing the rolls later. Scramble the remaining eggs in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • Prepare the crescent rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean work surface and separate it into 8 triangles.
  • Add the fillings: Place half a slice of cheddar cheese on each triangle. Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs and one cooked sausage link on top of the cheese.
  • Roll them up: Starting at the wide end, loosely roll up each triangle over the sausage, eggs, and cheese. Tuck in the ends if needed.
  • Brush and season: Place the rolled-up crescent rolls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Brush the tops with the reserved beaten eggs and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Serve: Let the breakfast roll-ups cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm

Notes

Feel free to customize the fillings by adding vegetables or using different cheeses.
