Description

These Savory Chicken Wraps are a perfect weeknight dinner! Tender grilled chicken wrapped in soft tortillas, drizzled with a creamy garlic sauce, and loaded with your favorite fresh veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced (optional)
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)

For the Garlic Cream Sauce

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the garlic cream sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  5. Once the chicken is done, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  6. To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla on a flat surface. Add a handful of lettuce, some tomato, cucumber, and onion (if using).
  7. Place a few strips of grilled chicken on top of the veggies. Drizzle with the garlic cream sauce.
  8. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll it up tightly.
  9. Serve immediately, or wrap them in foil for a packed lunch.

Notes

  • You can use whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas for a healthier option.
  • Customize the wrap with other vegetables like bell peppers, avocado, or olives.
  • For a spicier version, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the garlic cream sauce.
