Description

Perfect for a party, game day, or an easy dinner, these French Dip Sliders are packed with savory roast beef and melted cheese, all served with a side of rich au jus for dipping. They bring all the delicious flavors of a classic French dip sandwich in a convenient, bite-sized form!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 12 slices provolone cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 cup water (for au jus)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the Au Jus: According to the packet instructions, whisk the au jus with 1 cup of water over medium heat until thickened. Keep warm.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly across the buns, followed by the provolone cheese slices. Place the top halves over the cheese and beef.
  • Make the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Brush generously over the tops of the slider buns.
  • Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Slice the sliders apart and serve hot with warm au jus on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • You can add sliced onions or peppers for extra flavor.
  • These sliders can be prepared in advance; just cover and refrigerate until ready to bake.
