- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a bit of heat
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Lower heat to medium, add butter, rosemary, thyme, and lemon juice. Stir until butter is melted and herbs are fragrant.
- Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional rosemary or thyme if desired.
