Description

Scrambled eggs are a classic, simple, and versatile breakfast dish. Soft and creamy, they’re perfect on their own or paired with toast, vegetables, or any favorite toppings. Quick to make and always satisfying!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter (or oil)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 2 tbsp milk or cream (for creamier texture)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Eggs:
    • Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them with a fork or whisk until the yolks and whites are fully combined. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. If you prefer creamier eggs, add a little milk or cream to the mixture.
  2. Cook the Eggs:
    • Heat a nonstick skillet or frying pan over medium-low heat and melt the butter (or heat the oil).
    • Pour in the beaten eggs and allow them to sit undisturbed for a few seconds.
    • As the edges begin to set, gently stir with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges toward the center. Continue stirring occasionally, letting the eggs cook slowly.
    • Cook for 3-4 minutes or until they are just set but still slightly creamy and soft. Avoid overcooking to keep them tender.
  3. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Once the eggs are cooked to your desired consistency, remove them from the heat and serve immediately. Enjoy them with toast, on a breakfast burrito, or simply by themselves!

Notes

  • For fluffier eggs, whisk the eggs well before cooking to incorporate air.
  • You can customize scrambled eggs by adding cheese, herbs, or vegetables like spinach, onions, or bell peppers while cooking.
