Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup green tea, brewed and chilled
- ½ cup coconut water
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- ½ tsp lime juice
- ¼ cup coconut milk (or more for creaminess)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves and lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Brew and chill the green tea:
Brew 1 cup of green tea and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate the tea to chill it completely. - Prepare the mint syrup (optional):
In a small saucepan, combine the fresh mint leaves with 1 tablespoon of water. Heat over low to medium heat for a minute or two, just until the mint becomes fragrant. Remove from heat and allow it to steep for another 5-10 minutes. Strain out the mint leaves and set the mint syrup aside. - Mix the ingredients:
In a shaker or large glass, combine the chilled green tea, coconut water, coconut milk, lime juice, and honey or agave syrup (if desired). Add a splash of the mint syrup or add fresh mint leaves for an extra burst of mint flavor. - Shake or stir:
Add ice cubes to the mixture and either shake it in a cocktail shaker for 10-15 seconds or stir it well in a large glass. - Serve and garnish:
Pour the mocktail into glasses over more ice cubes. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a lime wedge for an added festive touch. - Enjoy:
Sip and enjoy this refreshing, coconut-mint-infused green tea mocktail that’s perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or any time you need a cool, invigorating drink.
Notes
- For a sweeter mocktail, increase the honey or syrup to your liking.
- Coconut milk adds a creamy texture, but you can use just coconut water for a lighter version.
- Make it more festive by adding a few drops of green food coloring or serving in fun glasses with a shamrock stirrer!
