Ingredients

- 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- Wooden skewers or sticks
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Insert wooden skewers into the shrimp, about 2-3 shrimp per skewer.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, combine egg, milk, and Alfredo sauce until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a thick batter forms.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip each shrimp skewer into the batter, coating evenly.
- Carefully fry the battered shrimp sticks in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen shrimp, thawed before cooking.
- Make sure batter is thick enough to stick to shrimp.
- Try serving with garlic aioli or spicy marinara sauce for dipping.
