Description

These Slow Cooker Kielbasa Bites are the perfect party appetizer or snack, packed with savory, smoky flavor and a sweet and tangy sauce that will have everyone coming back for more. The best part? They’re incredibly easy to make, and the slow cooker does all the work for you! Simply toss everything in and let the magic happen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra smokiness)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    1. Prepare the ingredients:
Slice the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces and place them in the slow cooker.

    2. Make the sauce:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.

    3. Combine:
Pour the sauce over the kielbasa in the slow cooker and stir until the sausage is evenly coated.

    4. Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours, stirring occasionally. The kielbasa should be tender and the sauce thickened.

    5. Serve:
Once cooked, serve the kielbasa bites with toothpicks as a fun, easy appetizer. They’re perfect for game day, parties, or casual get-togethers!

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • These kielbasa bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the slow cooker or on the stove before serving.
  • If you want to make a larger batch, simply double the recipe, and cook it for the same amount of time.
