Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed potatoes into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix evenly over the potatoes.
  3. Add the cubed butter on top of the potatoes.
  4. Pour the water over the potatoes and stir everything together to ensure the potatoes are evenly coated.
  5. Optionally, drizzle olive oil over the top for added flavor.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and cooked through. Stir occasionally for even cooking.
  7. Once cooked, season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  8. Serve hot as a side dish with your favorite main course.

Notes

  • You can use red potatoes or Yukon Gold potatoes for a different texture and flavor.
  • If you prefer a crispier top, you can cook the potatoes on high for the last 30 minutes.
  • For a creamy variation, add 1/2 cup of sour cream or heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving.
