Description

This Slow Cooker Orange Chicken is a flavorful, easy dinner that your family will love! Serve it over rice for a complete meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • In a slow cooker, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
  • Add the chicken pieces, stirring to coat in the sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours before cooking.
