Description

S’mores In The Oven is a quick and easy way to enjoy the classic campfire treat without needing a campfire. With layers of graham crackers, melty chocolate, and gooey marshmallows, all baked to perfection, it’s a fun and delicious dessert perfect for any time of the year.


Ingredients

  • 1 package graham crackers (about 9 crackers)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips or chocolate bars
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • Butter, for greasing the baking sheet
  • Additional graham crackers, broken into squares for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Place whole graham crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet, breaking them as necessary to fit.
  3. Place chocolate chips or pieces of chocolate bar on top of the graham crackers, evenly distributing them.
  4. Top the chocolate with mini marshmallows, covering the crackers generously.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and the chocolate is melted.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Optional: Place an additional graham cracker square on top of each marshmallow-covered cracker to make a s’mores sandwich.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your oven-baked s’mores!

Notes

  • If you prefer a more toasted marshmallow, place the pan under the broiler for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  • Try using dark chocolate or peanut butter cups for a different twist on the classic s’mores.
  • For a richer flavor, add a drizzle of caramel or a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate before baking.
