Description

These Snickerdoodle Truffles are the perfect bite-sized treat for cinnamon lovers! Combining the creamy goodness of cream cheese with the cinnamon flavor of golden Oreos and a smooth white chocolate coating, these truffles are irresistible. Whether you’re preparing for the holidays, a special occasion, or just a sweet treat, these truffles are sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 36 golden Oreo cookies (14.3 oz package)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 16 oz white almond bark
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Tray:
Line a sheet pan or rimmed tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Crush the Cookies:
Use a food processor to crush the golden Oreos into fine crumbs. If your food processor is small, you may need to do this in batches to get an even consistency.
  • Mix the Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cookie crumbs, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to blend everything together until smooth and well-combined.
  • Form the Truffles:
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Chill the Truffles:
Refrigerate the truffle balls for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Melt the Coating:
Melt the almond bark in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Coat the Truffles:
Use a candy dipping tool or fork to dip each chilled truffle ball into the melted almond bark. Let any excess coating drip off before placing the truffle back onto the lined tray. If desired, add sprinkles immediately before the coating sets.
  • Set the Truffles:
Refrigerate the coated truffles for at least 1 hour or until fully set.
  • Serve or Store:
Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 2 months, separating layers with wax paper to prevent sticking.

Notes

  • If you prefer a stronger cinnamon flavor, feel free to add a bit more ground cinnamon to the filling.
  • The truffles can be made up to a day in advance, and they stay fresh for a long time when stored properly.
  • You can use dark or milk chocolate instead of white almond bark if preferred, though it will change the flavor profile slightly.
  • Make sure the truffles are fully chilled before dipping them into the almond bark to prevent them from falling apart.
