Description

  • These Soothing Chamomile Honey Pops are a refreshing and calming treat perfect for any time you need a little relaxation. Infused with the gentle flavors of chamomile and honey, these popsicles are a natural way to cool down and unwind. Perfect for hot days or as a bedtime snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water

  • 2 chamomile tea bags (or 2 tbsp loose chamomile flowers)

  • 2 tbsp honey (or more to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (optional, for a tangy twist)

Instructions

  1. Make the Chamomile Tea: In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the chamomile tea bags (or loose chamomile flowers). Let steep for about 5–7 minutes to extract the flavors.

  2. Sweeten the Tea: After steeping, remove the tea bags or strain out the loose flowers. Stir in honey while the tea is still warm, adjusting the amount to your desired sweetness. If you’re using vanilla extract or lemon juice, add it now and stir well.

  3. Cool the Tea: Let the chamomile tea mixture cool down to room temperature.

  4. Pour into Popsicle Molds: Once cooled, pour the chamomile-honey mixture into popsicle molds. Tap the molds gently to remove any air bubbles.

  5. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours, or until the popsicles are fully frozen.

  6. Serve: Once frozen, remove the pops from the molds by running warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen them. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • These popsicles can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer for up to 1–2 weeks.

  • You can add chopped fruit like apple slices or berries to the molds before freezing for an extra burst of flavor and texture.

  • For a more intense chamomile flavor, use a bit more chamomile in the steeping process, but be cautious not to make it too strong.
