Description

These Spider Web Pretzels are a fun and spooky Halloween treat that combines sweet and salty flavors. With their chocolate web designs and optional festive decorations, they’re perfect for adding a touch of Halloween magic to any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 pretzel sticks
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Optional: Halloween-colored sprinkles, candy eyes, or small candy spiders

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate: In separate bowls, melt the mini chocolate chips and white chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil each. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Prepare the Pretzel Webs: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange 8 pretzel sticks in a circle for each spider web, with one end of each pretzel meeting at the center.
  • Create the Web: Transfer the melted chocolate into ziplock bags and snip off a small corner of each bag. Starting from the center of the pretzel circle, pipe the chocolate in a spiral pattern, moving outward to the edge of the pretzels. Ensure the lines are thick enough to hold the pretzels together.
  • Add the Web Design: Use a toothpick to gently drag from the center outward through the chocolate to create a web-like effect.
  • Decorate: If desired, add festive Halloween-colored sprinkles, candy eyes, or small candy spiders to the chocolate before it sets.
  • Set the Webs: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully set.
  • Enjoy: Serve these spooky spider web pretzels at your Halloween party or enjoy them as a festive snack!

Notes

  • For a more detailed web design, practice your piping technique or use multiple layers of chocolate.
  • Ensure the chocolate is not too hot when piping to avoid melting the pretzels.
