Description

These Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Twists are a deliciously cheesy, vegetarian option that’s perfect for snacking. With a flavorful spinach and cheese filling wrapped in crispy breadstick dough, they make for a fun and satisfying handheld treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated breadstick dough
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning until combined.
  • Prepare the Dough: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the breadstick dough and separate it into individual strips.
  • Fill the Twists: Place a tablespoon of the spinach mixture on one end of each strip. Twist the dough around the filling.
  • Brush with Egg: Place the twists on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately after baking while the twists are warm and the cheese is gooey.
