Description

Spinach Artichoke Dip is a creamy, cheesy appetizer that’s ideal for parties, gatherings, or any time you want a comforting snack. This rich dip combines thawed spinach, artichoke hearts, sour cream, mayonnaise, and a mix of cheeses, baked until bubbly and golden. It’s perfect for dipping tortilla chips, toasted bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: extra mozzarella or Parmesan, chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.
  • Mix the Dip: In a large bowl, combine the thawed and drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Bake: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Smooth the top and sprinkle with a little extra mozzarella or Parmesan cheese if desired. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese on top is golden.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch if you like.
  • Enjoy: Serve warm with tortilla chips, toasted bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • Ensure the spinach is well-drained to prevent excess moisture in the dip.
  • You can prepare the dip a day in advance and refrigerate it before baking.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
