Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked spinach (fresh or frozen, well-drained)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the spinach mixture: In a bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, cooked spinach, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.
- Form cheese crisps: Drop spoonfuls of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Gently press down to form small mounds or discs, leaving space between each one.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese crisps are golden brown and crispy around the edges.
- Garnish and serve: Let the crisps cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve!
Notes
- Make sure the spinach is well-drained to avoid excess moisture in the cheese mixture.
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice.
- These cheese crisps are best served fresh, but they can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
