- 1 pound steak (e.g., strip loin, rib eye)
- Cajun seasoning to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken broth (or dry white wine)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear until browned on both sides. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add shrimp, and cook until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Sauté garlic in the skillet, then deglaze with chicken broth. Add cream, mustard, and Cajun seasoning, bringing to a boil.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Add lemon juice and parsley. Return shrimp to the skillet and serve over the steak.
Notes
- For medium-rare steak, cook for about 4-5 minutes per side.
