- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.
- While the cake is still warm, sprinkle powdered sugar over the top. Invert the cake onto a clean kitchen towel. Carefully roll the cake with the towel from short end to short end and allow it to cool completely.
- Once cooled, unroll the cake and spread whipped cream over the surface. Top with sliced strawberries.
- Roll the cake back up, without the towel, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
