Description

These Strawberry Cheesecake Crescents are a delightful twist on the classic crescent rolls, filled with a creamy cheesecake filling and topped with fresh strawberries. They’re perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet dessert treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (for sprinkling)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture onto each crescent roll triangle, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Top each with a few diced strawberries and a drizzle of lemon juice.
  6. Carefully roll the crescent rolls from the wide end to the tip, securing the filling inside.
  7. Place the rolled crescents onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown and the filling is bubbling slightly.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Optionally, top with extra fresh strawberries for garnish.

Notes

  • For an extra touch of sweetness, drizzle with a bit of honey or chocolate sauce after baking.
  • Feel free to use other fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or peaches as a filling variation.
  • Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
