Description

Strawberry Cheesecake Nachos take the classic dessert to a whole new level. Crispy cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips are topped with a rich cream cheese mixture, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of sweet syrup for a dessert that’s both indulgent and fun to eat. Perfect for sharing at parties or as a treat for yourself!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry syrup or strawberry jam (for drizzling)
  • Optional: chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, or mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tortilla chips: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the flour tortillas into triangle-shaped pieces (like nachos).
  2. Cinnamon-sugar coating: In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the tortilla triangles on a baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray or brush with melted butter. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the tortilla pieces.
  3. Bake the chips: Bake the tortilla pieces in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.
  4. Make the cheesecake topping: While the chips are cooling, beat the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
  5. Assemble the nachos: Arrange the cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips in a single layer on a serving platter or large plate. Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the chips, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with strawberries: Add the sliced fresh strawberries on top of the cheesecake mixture.
  7. Drizzle and garnish: Drizzle the strawberry syrup (or strawberry jam) over the nachos for a sweet finish. Optionally, add a drizzle of chocolate sauce, whipped cream, or a few fresh mint leaves for extra flair.
  8. Serve: Serve immediately while the chips are still warm and crispy, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add other fresh fruits such as blueberries or raspberries on top of the nachos.
  • You can also use pre-made cinnamon-sugar chips if you’re looking for a shortcut.
  • Leftover cheesecake dip can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
  • If you want a healthier twist, use whole wheat tortillas and low-fat cream cheese.
