Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Layer: In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss to coat and let sit for 15-20 minutes to macerate.
- Prepare the Cheesecake Layer: In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until no streaks remain.
- Assemble the Trifle: In a large trifle dish or individual glasses, add a layer of cake cubes at the bottom, followed by a layer of cheesecake filling and then a layer of macerated strawberries. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cheesecake layer.
