Description

This Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread is a delightful combination of savory cheddar and aromatic garlic, perfect for a quick snack or a side dish. It’s easy to prepare and bakes to a golden brown, making it a family favorite!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or spray a loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
