Description

This Strawberry Pineapple Salsa is a fresh, fruity twist on traditional salsa. It’s bright, colorful, and full of sweet and tangy flavor—perfect as a dip, a topping for grilled meats, or served with chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced strawberries and pineapple.
  2. Add the red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Stir to combine.
  3. Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Gently toss everything together until evenly mixed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15–30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled chicken, fish, or tacos.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeño depending on your spice preference.
  • For added crunch, mix in diced cucumber or red bell pepper.
  • Best enjoyed the same day it’s made to preserve the fresh fruit texture.
