Description

  • These Strawberry Shortcake Oreo Balls are a dreamy no-bake dessert that tastes just like those nostalgic ice cream bars you loved as a kid! Made with crushed Golden Oreos, cream cheese, freeze-dried strawberries, and coated in white chocolate, these bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, holidays, baby showers, or when you just need a little something sweet. They’re super easy, freezer-friendly, and always a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Golden Oreos (36 cookies), crushed

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed (plus extra for topping)

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or melting wafers

  • Optional: pink or red sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Reserve 2–3 tablespoons for topping, if desired.

  2. Mix the filling: In a bowl, combine Oreo crumbs, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and a dough-like consistency forms.

  3. Form balls: Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20–30 minutes to firm up.

  4. Melt the chocolate: While the balls chill, melt white chocolate chips or wafers in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  5. Coat the balls: Dip each chilled ball into the melted white chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Tap off excess and place back on the parchment paper.

  6. Decorate: Immediately sprinkle with reserved crushed Oreos, freeze-dried strawberries, or sprinkles before the coating hardens.

  7. Chill & serve: Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until set. Enjoy chilled or at room temp!

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.

  • For a pinker color, you can stir a bit of strawberry powder or food coloring into the white chocolate.

  • Use a cookie scoop to get uniform ball sizes.
