Description

This easy homemade Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza uses refrigerated pizza crust, gooey mozzarella string cheese, zesty pizza sauce, and classic pepperoni for a fun twist on takeout. Perfect for weeknight dinners or pizza night at home.

  • 6 pieces Sargentoยฎ String Cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargentoยฎ Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 can (10 oz.) refrigerated pizza crust


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
  2. Unroll the refrigerated pizza crust and press it into the bottom and 1 inch up the sides of a greased 13ร—9-inch pan.
  3. Place the string cheese along the inside edges of the crust.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the string cheese and press to seal, creating a stuffed crust border.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust base.
  6. Top with pepperoni slices and sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, cool slightly, slice, and serve hot.
