- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat evenly. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens and glazes the chicken.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for juicier results or breast for leaner meat.
- Add chili flakes for extra heat.
- Can be prepared ahead and reheated gently.
