Description

This Sweet Cinnamon Milk Tea is a comforting and flavorful drink that combines the rich taste of black tea with the warm spice of cinnamon and the creaminess of milk. It’s perfect for cozy afternoons or a sweet treat any time of day!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 black tea bag (or 1 tablespoon loose leaf black tea)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based, such as almond or oat milk)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon and the tea bag or loose leaf tea.
  2. Let the tea steep for about 4-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. Remove the tea bag or strain the loose leaves, then stir in the honey or sweetener of choice.
  4. Add the milk and vanilla extract, and stir well to combine. Heat gently over low heat until the tea is warm and creamy.
  5. Pour into a mug, remove the cinnamon stick if using, and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • If you prefer a stronger cinnamon flavor, you can increase the amount of cinnamon or add a pinch of ground cinnamon directly to the milk.
