- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp ground sumac
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, sumac, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to form a spice paste.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and brush both sides with the spice paste.
- Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven and garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Sumac adds a lemony flavor; if unavailable, substitute with lemon zest and a pinch of paprika.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
- For extra flavor, marinate salmon in the spice paste for 30 minutes before baking.
