Description

Tender salmon fillets seasoned with sweet and tangy sumac spice, roasted to perfection for a vibrant and healthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp ground sumac
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, sumac, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to form a spice paste.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry and brush both sides with the spice paste.
  4. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from oven and garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Sumac adds a lemony flavor; if unavailable, substitute with lemon zest and a pinch of paprika.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
  • For extra flavor, marinate salmon in the spice paste for 30 minutes before baking.
