Description

A cheesy, crunchy, and flavorful Tex-Mex delight! This easy Taco Casserole layers tortilla chips, seasoned beef, and melty cheddar for a crowd-pleasing dinner. Perfect for busy weeknights! 


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 (1.25 oz) packet taco seasoning

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 (8 oz) can beef broth

  • 1 (14 oz) can Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes with green chilies)

  • 6 slices cheddar cheese

  • 1 (8 oz) bag tortilla chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Brown beef: Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.

  3. Simmer sauce: Stir in taco seasoning, mushroom soup, beef broth, and Rotel. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.

  4. Layer chips: Spread whole tortilla chips in the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  5. Add beef mixture: Pour the beef sauce evenly over the chips.

  6. Top with cheese: Arrange cheddar cheese slices on top.

  7. Bake: 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve warm!
