This delicious Taco Mac combines the best of two worlds: taco-flavored seasoned beef and creamy, cheesy macaroni. Perfect for a quick dinner, this hearty one-pot meal is sure to please the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
  • 2 boxes Macaroni and Cheese (your preferred brand; boiling water, milk, and butter are usual ingredients)
  • 1 can Rotel (seasoned diced tomatoes)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (Usually requires water)

Instructions

  1. In one pot, prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the instructions on the box.
  2. In a separate pan, brown the ground beef (or turkey) and drain the fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning (which usually requires water) to the ground beef and stir until fully combined.
  4. Add the can of Rotel tomatoes to the seasoned meat and simmer, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  5. Once the macaroni and cheese is ready, combine it with the taco meat mixture. Stir until well-mixed and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey for a leaner option.
  • For extra spice, try using spicy taco seasoning or adding jalapeños.
  • Feel free to top with shredded cheese, sour cream, or sliced green onions for extra flavor.
