Description

Taco Ranch Bites are the ultimate savory snack! These bite-sized treats are loaded with seasoned taco meat, creamy ranch flavor, and gooey cheese, all wrapped in crispy crescent dough or baked in mini muffin tins. Perfect for parties, game day, or anytime you need a quick and delicious appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground chicken
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or 24 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (if using wonton wrappers)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef or chicken over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 2โ€“3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in ranch dressing mix, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and green onions (if using).
  5. Unroll crescent dough and cut into 24 small squares, or use wonton wrappers.
  6. Press dough squares or wonton wrappers into mini muffin tins.
  7. Spoon 1 tbsp of taco mixture into each cup.
  8. Bake for 10โ€“12 minutes, or until golden and bubbling. If using wonton wrappers, brush with olive oil before baking.
  9. Let cool slightly before removing. Serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.

Notes

  • Use cooked rotisserie chicken for a faster version.
  • Add a pinch of chili flakes or hot sauce for extra heat.
  • You can substitute crescent dough with biscuit dough or phyllo shells.
  • These bites freeze wellโ€”reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
