Description

Taco Rice is a delicious and easy-to-make one-pan meal that combines seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, zesty salsa, and gooey cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings, this hearty dish is sure to please everyone at the table!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups Minute Rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown and crumble the ground beef. Drain excess grease.
  • Add in the taco seasoning and water. Stir well and allow the mixture to come to a boil.
  • Turn down the heat, then add in the uncooked Minute Rice and stir.
  • Cover and cook for about 5 minutes (until rice is tender). Then remove the lid and stir in the salsa and cheese.

  • For extra flavor, consider adding chopped onions or bell peppers when browning the ground beef.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
