Description

This warm and cheesy dip combines creamy layers of cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, green chiles, taco seasoning, and lots of melty Mexican blend cheese. Perfect for parties or game day with tortilla chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans refried beans
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped green chiles, drained
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package McCormickยฎ Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 4 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 13ร—9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave cream cheese and sour cream on HIGH for 1 minute or until softened.
  3. Whisk the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add refried beans, green chiles, taco seasoning, and 2 cups of the shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the bean mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
