For the Dough:
- 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
For the Almond Cream Filling:

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt

- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with muffin liners. - Prepare the Almond Cream Filling:
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add almond flour, egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy. Set aside. - Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle. Cut the pastry into 12 equal strips, about 1-1.5 inches wide. - Fill and Shape the Cruffins:
Spread a generous amount of almond cream onto each strip of puff pastry, leaving a small border on the edges. Roll up each strip from the short end to form a spiral. - Place in the Muffin Tin:
Place each rolled cruffin into the prepared muffin tin, with the spiral facing upward. Lightly press them down into the muffin cups. - Add Almond Topping:
Sprinkle sliced almonds over the top of each cruffin. - Bake the Cruffins:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and puffed. - Cool and Dust with Powdered Sugar:
Once baked, remove the cruffins from the oven and allow them to cool slightly in the muffin tin. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
