Description

These Toblerone Triple Chocolate Cookies are every chocolate lover’s dream! Packed with three kinds of Toblerone—white, milk, and dark chocolate—these cookies are a perfect mix of crispiness, chewiness, and gooeyness. They are decadent and indulgent, ideal for a treat or a gift this holiday season!


Ingredients

  • 110 g butter, at room temperature
  • 100 g light brown sugar
  • 60 g caster sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • 150 g plain flour
  • 75 g cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 300 g Toblerone (mix of white, milk, and dark), chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cookie Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, light brown sugar, and caster sugar together until light and fluffy.
    • Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract, then mix until smooth.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • Sift in the plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt.
    • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Add Toblerone:
    • Gently fold the chopped Toblerone into the dough, ensuring even distribution.
  • Shape and Chill:
    • Divide the dough into 8 even portions (approximately 110 g each).
    • Roll each portion into a ball, then place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
    • Freeze the cookie dough balls for at least 1 hour.
  • Bake the Cookies:
    • Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) 30 minutes before baking.
    • Place 2–3 dough balls on a baking tray, as these cookies are very large.
    • Bake for 15 minutes for gooey cookies.
  • Final Touch:
    • If the cookies need flattening, gently tap the tray immediately after removing it from the oven.
    • Allow the cookies to cool on the tray for 15 minutes before serving.

  • Best enjoyed warm. You can reheat them in the microwave, oven, or air fryer for that perfect crispy outside and gooey center.
