Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) ball of burrata cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular pepperoni, chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For Serving:
- Crusty bread, crackers, or veggie sticks (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium baking dish or a small oven-safe skillet with non-stick spray or a little olive oil.
- Prepare the Dip Base: In the prepared baking dish, spread the marinara sauce evenly on the bottom. Tear the burrata into chunks and place them over the sauce. Top with the halved cherry tomatoes, and then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over everything.
- Add the Toppings: Sprinkle the mini pepperoni slices (or chopped regular pepperoni) over the cheese. Drizzle the olive oil on top and sprinkle with dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake the Dip: Place the dip in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the pepperoni is slightly crispy. You can broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end to get the top extra golden and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Once the dip is baked, remove it from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately with crusty bread, crackers, or veggie sticks for dipping.
Notes
- For an extra creamy dip, add a few tablespoons of cream cheese or sour cream to the marinara sauce before layering it in the dish.
- You can switch up the pepperoni for other toppings, such as cooked sausage or mushrooms, to customize the dip.
- If you want a slightly spicy dip, increase the amount of red pepper flakes or add a few dashes of hot sauce to the marinara sauce.
