Description

A vibrant, refreshing dessert made by swirling together tropical fruit-flavored sherbets โ€” perfect for hot summer days or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pint orange sherbet
  • 1 pint pineapple sherbet
  • 1 pint raspberry or mango sherbet
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh fruit (like pineapple chunks or raspberries), for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Allow sherbet pints to soften slightly at room temperature for 5โ€“10 minutes to make scooping easier.
  2. In a large glass bowl or trifle dish, alternate scoops of each sherbet to create a colorful layered or swirled effect.
  3. Use a spoon or spatula to gently swirl the sherbet together for a marbled look (optional).
  4. Return the dish to the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  5. Scoop into individual bowls or cups and garnish with fresh mint or fruit if desired.

Notes

  • Choose any tropical sherbet flavors you like โ€” coconut, passionfruit, or guava work great too.
  • For a party-friendly presentation, serve in hollowed-out pineapple halves.
  • This dessert can also be layered in popsicle molds and refrozen for frozen sherbet pops.
