Description

A delightful twist on the classic tuna melt, this Tuna Melt Bruschetta features crispy baguette slices topped with a creamy tuna mixture and melted mozzarella cheese. Perfect as a snack or appetizer for any gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette
  • 1 can tuna chunks (185g in oil)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 100g mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 40g butter (for spreading)
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of paprika powder
  • Parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare baguette: Slice the baguette diagonally about 1 inch thick. Spread butter on both sides. Bake at 350°F (170°C) for a total of 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Make tuna mixture: Drain the tuna chunks and place them in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, paprika powder, salt, black pepper, and 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional). Stir to combine.
  • Assemble bruschetta: Spread about 1 tbsp of the tuna mixture on each sliced baguette. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Broil: Broil the bruschetta until the mozzarella has melted.
  • Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the tuna mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute the mozzarella with cheddar cheese for a different flavor.
