Description

A delightful twist on classic lasagna, these Turkey Lasagna Roll-Ups are filled with a flavorful turkey and cheese mixture, topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. Perfect for a family dinner!


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain and lay them flat on parchment paper.
  • Prepare Turkey Mixture: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
  • Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked turkey.
  • Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread a thin layer of the turkey and cheese mixture on each lasagna noodle. Roll each noodle up and place seam-side down in a baking dish.
  • Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour marinara sauce over the roll-ups, coating them well. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  • Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Serve: Let the roll-ups cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.

  • You can add chopped vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the turkey mixture for added nutrition.
