- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pink chocolate melts or white chocolate chips (for Valentine’s color)
- Sprinkles or heart-shaped candies (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Fudge Base:
- Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir until smooth.
- Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and continue to stir until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Add the Color:
- Gently fold in the pink chocolate melts (or white chocolate chips), stirring until they melt into the fudge mixture, creating a lovely pink color.
- Set the Fudge:
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Allow the fudge to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Garnish & Serve:
- Once the fudge is firm, cut it into small squares and garnish with sprinkles or heart-shaped candies if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- You can switch up the color by using red or white chocolate melts.
- If you prefer a darker or richer flavor, you can use bittersweet chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
