Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Red Candy Melts or Red Food Coloring (for swirls)
  • 1/4 cup Pink Candy Melts or Pink Food Coloring (for swirls)
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles or edible glitter (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Molds:
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. If you have heart-shaped candy molds, lightly grease them or line them with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate:
    • In a heatproof bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and heavy cream.
    • Melt the mixture in the microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate.
  3. Color the Chocolate:
    • Divide the melted white chocolate into two smaller bowls.
    • In one bowl, add the red candy melts or a few drops of red food coloring and stir until you achieve a vibrant red color.
    • In the other bowl, add the pink candy melts or a few drops of pink food coloring and stir until you get a soft pink color.
  4. Fill the Molds:
    • Spoon the white chocolate mixture into the prepared heart molds, filling them about halfway.
    • Then, drop spoonfuls of the red and pink-colored chocolate onto the white chocolate in the molds, creating a swirled effect.
  5. Create the Swirl Effect:
    • Use a toothpick or a skewer to gently swirl the red and pink chocolate into the white chocolate, creating a marbled or swirled look.
  6. Chill the Candies:
    • Once the molds are filled and swirled, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes, or until the candies are completely set.
  7. Remove and Decorate (Optional):
    • Once the candies have set, carefully pop them out of the molds.
    • If desired, decorate the candies with heart-shaped sprinkles or a sprinkle of edible glitter for an extra touch of Valentine’s flair.
  8. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Store the swirled white chocolate candies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate them for longer shelf life.

Notes

  • You can also use other colors of candy melts for different holidays or celebrations.
  • If you don’t have candy molds, you can spread the melted chocolate mixture on the baking sheet and swirl the colors together. Once set, break into pieces for a more rustic candy look.
  • To make the candies extra special, consider adding small decorations or fillings like crushed nuts, dried fruit, or mini marshmallows before setting the chocolate.
