Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add Velveeta cheese cubes, milk, and heavy cream. Stir continuously until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
  5. Add cooked rigatoni to the cheese sauce and beef mixture. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • For extra veggies, add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms with the onions.
