Description

A fun and fresh twist on the classic wedge salad, served on skewers with crisp iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bacon, blue cheese, and creamy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce, cut into 8 wedges
  • 16 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, cut into halves
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • Wooden skewers (8-10 inches long)
  • Fresh chives or green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: cut iceberg into wedges, halve cherry tomatoes, cook and cut bacon.
  2. Thread one wedge of lettuce onto a skewer, followed by 2 cherry tomato halves, a piece of bacon, and sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles.
  3. Repeat the layers until the skewer is full or you run out of ingredients.
  4. Drizzle each skewer with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
  5. Garnish with chopped chives or green onions if desired.
  6. Serve immediately as a fresh appetizer or side dish.

Notes

  • Use toothpicks for mini skewers if preferred.
  • Substitute bacon with turkey bacon or omit for a vegetarian option.
