For the Strawberry Cream Filling:
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
For the White Chocolate Drizzle:
- 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
- Pink food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Donuts:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fill the donut pan about halfway with the batter and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- Prepare the Strawberry Cream Filling:
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the strawberry jam and chopped strawberries.
- Assemble the Donuts:
- Carefully cut the cooled donuts in half horizontally.
- Fill each donut with the strawberry cream mixture.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top of each filled donut. If desired, add a few drops of pink food coloring to the white chocolate before drizzling.
- Finishing Touches:
- Let the donuts set for a few minutes before serving to allow the chocolate to firm up slightly.
